Cathay Delight

Cathay Pacific Airways is widely regarded as one of the best airlines in the world. They are currently ranked one of only six 5 Star Airlines by Skytrax, a UK based independent consultancy and research company. A 5 star ranking designates the airline as a trend setter in product and service standards, and from my personal experience, is a ranking much deserved. From its hub at Hong Kong International Airport, and in tandem with sister airline Dragonair, Cathay offers direct and connecting passenger services to 111 worldwide destinations. We in Los Angeles see them twice daily to Hong Kong, with certain days in the summer seeing an additional third flight, all with brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Recently, a select few were given an opportunity to experience first hand Cathay's excellent in-flight service offerings, as well as tour one of its new Boeing 777's at LAX. I was fortune enough to be invited along with them. Having recently flown one of their Boeing 747-400's to Europe, stepping aboard their aircraft brought back fantastic memories of a great flight. Their product offerings and service are top-notch, and consistent on their long-haul fleets, something you can't always say about other airlines. If your destination is served by Cathay Pacific Airways, and you have an opportunity to fly them in the future, I highly recommend them and can vouch for a delightful experience awaiting you onboard.
